Introduction

Whether you are joining KiwiSaver for the first time or transferring from another scheme, you can apply to join online.
It will only take a few minutes.

You can join KiwiSaver if you're both:
  • A New Zealand citizen, or entitled to live in New Zealand indefinitely.
  • You live in New Zealand or nominally live in New Zealand in the case of missionaries.

You can become a member of the Christian KiwiSaver Scheme if you are:
  • An employee of an organisation whose primary activity is Christian mission or ministry; or
  • An individual who expresses a Christian faith and has a commitment to Christian community involvement (or an immediate family member of such a person.)

To set up your Christian KiwiSaver Scheme account online you need:
  • To be 18+.   If you are under 18 or would prefer to apply on the paper form, the application form is in the Product Disclosure Statement.
  • Your IRD number.
